I have been a mathematician for 40 years in the area of symplectic topology, and have been teaching at Orsay (France), Ecole polytechnique and Ecole normale supérieure.
AI has brought in the last six months changes in the field of mathematics that I (and presumably no one else) would ever have anticipated and should lead the mathematical community to reflect about its goals, its ethics, its future functioning. Indeed there is a serious debate, with several view points and it is healthy that people with different viewpoints can debate in a civilsed manner. The views you'll find here are mostly my views, but I'll try to leaves some space to other views, and not only in the comment section.
